Grief is a natural response to loss, but it can feel overwhelming, isolating, or confusing—no matter your age, background, or the type of loss you’ve experienced. I offer compassionate, personalized grief support for individuals, families, and groups, creating a safe space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and move through your grief at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you prefer one-on-one conversations, shared experiences in a small group, or support designed for your whole family, I’m here to walk alongside you.
My approach is grounded in experience, warmth, and a deep respect for the many ways grief shows up in our lives. I’ve spent years supporting children and families through my volunteer work with a childhood grief organization, and I currently facilitate the monthly grief support group at Hospice of Michigan. These experiences shape my understanding of the unique needs people have across different ages and life stages. I believe grief is not something to “fix,” but something to honor, tend to, and explore with curiosity and care.
“When I lost my job, I got connected with Liz Freedman, and she was able to help me realize this is a form of grief I’m experiencing. It wasn’t about making a clinical diagnosis; Liz brought the human, compassion element and prioritized that.”
